The idea began with when Harvard Professor, Denise DuprΓ©, and Mark Nunelly, former Managing Director a Boston Capital investment fund acquired Champagne Leclerc Briant in 2012. The snowball grew bigger and moved south to Bourgogne, a vision to restore ChΓ’teau de la Commaraine it to its former glory. In 2017 was a year of rejuvenation by acquiring both the ChΓ’teau de la Commaraine and its Clos Monopole in Pommard and Domaine Belleville in Rully. Lastly they created Les Parcellaires de Saulx in Meursault. Their maison was established on a century old wine house and its cellars with unobstructed and breathtaking views of Meursault and Puligny-Montrachet, which we toured and soaked up the beautiful views.
They use organic or biodynamic practices and work with producers who also follow these practices when cultivate their vines. Each wine is vinified separately, respect for each climats, terroir and the work of the producer.
