She has an immense passion for what she does, her vines, and the terroir of #sicily . The natural expression of the grape, and what she does explodes from the glass the second you pour it. The grapes are grown on limestone soils, fermented with ambient yeast in stainless steel tanks and aged for 12 months in oak barrels. This wine is 100% Nerello Mascalese, a wine that is kindred spirits with Pinot Noir and Nebbiolo. The color, the flavor profile and characteristics are gorgeous and at 13%abv its a lovely sipper. A type of wine you want to have every day or paired with a holiday meal.

Pours into the glass a bright ruby center with a pronounced garnet rim. An explosion of red fruit flavors that leads into spice notes of cinnamon and floral to fresh resinous herbs. A tightrope walker of great precision, offering sweet tart raspberry and strawberry, sour cherry, all balanced by mineral earthiness, rose petals, tobacco leaf, leather, rosemary and thyme. The finish is oh so lingering on cinnamon and fresh mint. The soft yet present tannins and zingy acidity intertwine to extend the flavours. A medium bodied wine with bright personality that you take notice of from the start.

The wine is perfect for enjoying with hearty dishes such as roast turkey with cranberry relish, pork roast or roasted eggplant, sausage and peppers.
