A Coroa Godello
Galicia is synonymous with seafood, coastal breezes and Albariño. Let’s not forget the regions delicious sister white grape Godello. Dating back to Roman times, this resurrected grape’s happy place is in the mountainous, rocky slate steep slopes of Valdeorras DO. It’s difficult to describe because it has so much going on - zingy, briny acidity, richer body and texture like a Viognier, briny grapefruit, Burgundy mineral qualities, Chablis citrus action and it ages quite well.
