Champagne Henriot has been female led #womenwinemakers from 1808 to today with cellar master Alice Tรฉtienne at the helm. Apolline Henriot, newly widowed, was looking for a challenge. She was an industrious lady. She found her inspiration one day while flipping through How to Manage a Vineyard and Make Wine in the Champagne Region, which her great-uncle wrote. A blend of 45% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay and 15% Pinot Meunier from 29 Grand Cru and Premier Cru from Montagne de Reims and the Cรดte des Blancs with 30% of the blend from reserve wines a minimum of 36 months in the lees.

Glistening light gold color with persistent, fine bubbles. The perfumed aromatics are filled with tart green apple and pear, stone fruit, acacia, toasty smoke, salted almonds and brioche. The first sip Is generous with ripe peach and nectarine, tart green apple and under ripe strawberry into vanilla pastry cream and caramel, with a pleasant bitter grapefruit and lime pith and finish. Mouth tingling lively acidity keeps this elegant well structured cuvรฉe dancing harmoniously your mouth.
